The authorization comes with approval number 85765. With it, a teacher is registered in the BAMF’s integration course database when teaching begins.

I learned German with Dr. Meshkin Mehr in an integration course in Germany. His teaching was unique, as it was both practice-oriented and highly motivating.

Joining an integration course, step by step

  1. Check if you can take part

With your residence permit, the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) tells you whether you are entitled or obliged to attend. A Jobcenter can also ask you to attend.

  2. Get your confirmation

You receive a certificate of entitlement. If you are not entitled, you can apply to the BAMF for admission to a course.

  3. Choose a course provider

Integration courses run at course providers approved by the BAMF. Pick one near you, or one that suits your schedule.

  4. Take the placement test

The provider checks your German first, so you start in the right part of the course and move on towards B1.

Good to knowThe authorization belongs to Dr. Amir Mahdi Meshkin Mehr as a teacher. Integration courses themselves are run by course providers approved by the BAMF; the course finder on bamf.de lists them.
